Hello welcome to my blog!

My name is Nur Diyana, a third-year student in Food Service and Management at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, UPM. This semester, I attended a digitalization class that was conducted online during the first week. However, my experience was a little different compared to my other classmates because I was unable to join the class at the beginning. This was because I was performing umrah, a truly meaningful opportunity in my life.

Even though I couldn’t attend the class at first due to certain circumstances, I felt very grateful to have a lecturer who is understanding of students’ situations. The assignments given had a flexible and longer duration, so I was still able to catch up and complete them after I returned. One of the tasks assigned was to form groups and conduct consultation sessions with small businesses. We are required to help them in terms of digitalization, especially in developing websites for their businesses. This task is very interesting because it not only allows us to learn theory but also apply our knowledge practically in the real world.

Overall, even though I missed the class at the initial stage, this experience still gave me many benefits. I also feel excited and can’t wait to carry out the next tasks with my group and learn more about digitalization.
